Light or Original?

Both sizes have the same design. Original is the standard format; Light is scaled down as a single block. Here's where to place each one, and the dimensions so you can choose without mistakes.

Good to know first

The Light does not replace the front Arai lettering

The "Arai Helmet" wording in Light size is too small to take the place of the original lettering on the front of the helmet. It isn't meant for that: it's a discreet signature, to place where the original would be too imposing.

  1. The side pads

    The large plate on each side of the helmet. The word "Arai" sits there like a signature, or the design motif, clearly visible in profile.

  2. The rear flank, around the vent

    Ideal for the "Arai" oval or a small design element: discreet, but visible as you pass by.

  3. The top of the shell

    An extra touch near the vents, seen from above and from three-quarter view.

Check the placement suits you before applying: the shape of the helmet and the way you wear it matter.

Every design has its own proportions

In Light size, each design is scaled down as a single block within its own frame. The size of each element therefore depends on the design's proportions: on a JUL, with its big hands, the word "Arai" is clearly smaller than on an SZ-R Evo Portugal or a solid-colour design.

These percentages compare the word "Arai" to the width of its own design, not to a measurement in millimetres. The actual size varies from one design to another: we prefer not to show a single dimension, which would be wrong for some stickers. Want the dimension of a specific design? It's the reference size of our Arai stickers, the one used by default across the whole catalog. No reduction applied: these are the proportions you get once the sticker is on the helmet.

The SZ-R Vas and SZ-R Evo share the same "Original" size logic (no reduction), but their exact dimensions differ slightly depending on the shell: hence two separate templates.

Combination

The idea: combine both sizes
